According to the Ornish diet, our daily menu should consist of 10% fat, 15% protein and 15% carbohydrates. Animal products such as milk and eggs are considered non-fat and are allowed in the diet. They are only a supplement to vegetables, fruit, vegetables, nuts and grain dishes. More of these interesting details can be found in Dr Dean Ornish’s book, “Reset Yourself”, or you can attend the conference “Modern Lethal Diseases: ” Tackling Symptoms or Causes?” on 27-29 September, where he will be present. The conference is organised by the Romanian Society of Lifestyle Medicine in partnership with the Scientific Senate of the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania.
