Essential life-saving information and benefits for medical professionals
During the three days of the congress, 45 national and international medical leaders will present to the audience essential information on how we should live our lives in order to have a minimum guarantee of a long and healthy old age. Medical professionals attending should be aware that this congress is accredited by the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine with 10 CME hours, the Romanian College of Physicians has credited this event with 18 CME credits and the Romanian College of Pharmacists has credited this event with 30 CME credits.
Doctors of the future will have a team in Romania too
The event is just one of the organisers’ initiatives in the field of lifestyle medicine, as according to a 2021 country profile analysis by the European Commission, almost half of all deaths in Romania in 2019 can be attributed to behavioural risk factors such as tobacco use, unhealthy diet, alcohol consumption and low physical activity levels.
In this context, the RSLM intends to implement the lifestyle medicine curriculum in Romanian universities to train well-trained health professionals able to provide patients with evidence-based approaches to the prevention, reversal and treatment of lifestyle-related conditions.
