🤖 The Scientific Senate of the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania is coming to meet robotics enthusiasts by organizing the first edition of the Robotics Competition “Looking for the new Shakey”.
🏆 The competition aims to discover the most intelligent robots, but also to encourage the development of new robots with practical applications.
Romania has a fine tradition of participating in Robotics competitions, both national and international. Every time, our competitors have had outstanding results and put Romania’s name on the map of important countries.
We all remember Maria, the first humanoid robot invented by three students from Iasi, or 𝐉𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝟓, the robot invented by students from the Faculty of Exact and Engineering Sciences in Alba Iulia, which can be used in the household.
👉 Robots used in healthcare are another success story of Romanian inventors, medical robotics developed in Romania is now internationally recognized.
