The “Romania 2020” Discussion Group – an apolitical project initiated by the Scientific Senate of the Dan Voiculescu Foundaton for Romania’s Development in early 2019 – organized a new debate on topics of major interest, such as acute disparities between rural and urban areas, the demographic crisis of the last 30 years, and the need to identify concrete solutions for encouraging real dialogue between generations.
This event was attended by founding members as well as other distinguished individuals such as, people that developed businesses, representatives of local authorities and decision-makers across the country who expressed their willingness to get involved in the 2020 Group project. Among them were: Academic Eugen Simion, Prof. Univ. Dr. Dan Voiculescu, Prof. Univ. Dr. Nicolae Istudor, Prof. Univ.
