The struggles with aging and anti-aging solutions represent modern day challenges in technological and medical fields. World-class speakers, hundreds of physicians and specialists from around the country attend the 11th edition of the International Congress of Anti-Aging Medicine, which takes place at Ramada Parc Hotel Bucharest over the following days. The event is also attended by the Anti-Aging Research Centre, the new department of the Scientific Senate of the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for Romania’s Development, dedicated to the innovative scientific activity in this field.
Established earlier this year, the Anti-Aging Research Centre is a platform to promote development in research and innovation, dedicated to supporting and training specialists in this medical field.
“The objective of this centre is to identify and support any scientific approach in the area of anti-aging, focusing on innovations, formulas, dietary supplements that could considerably increase quality of life. We aim to make our activity known, to connect with specialists in the anti-aging field” said Lăcrămioara Frăsineanu, Project Manager, Anti-Aging Research Centre.
The Congress of Anti-Aging Medicine also discussed future medicine, such as stem cells extracted from adipose tissue, which will help improve the quality of life and increase life expectancy of people with various cardiac conditions.
“The future of medicine will be regenerative medicine, in which a point of great interest will be the use of stem cells, stem cells extracted from adipose tissue. They are beneficial for various diseases, from Alzheimer’s, to myocardial infarction, to respiratory failure, “said Prof. Dr. Nedelcu Ioan, President of the International Anti-Aging Congress.
The International Congress brought together physicians and specialists from all over the country that are given the opportunity to observe the latest techniques, methods, devices and approaches in the field of medical aesthetics and anti-aging.

The Honorary Council of the Scientific Senate, through the Anti-Aging Research Center, decided to join Romanian specialists and researchers in anti-aging medicine to support and promote the development of this specialty in Romania by awarding a 10,000 lei prize towards an innovation in this field, presented for the first time at this congress, a development that would bring a significant contribution towards improving quality of life.
