A European Commission program devoted to start-up entrepreneurs that can apply for spending a period of time in a host organization abroad in an exchange of experience programme. The National Council of Private Small and Medium Enterprises in Romania is an active intermediary organization in this program.
The Dan Voiculescu Foundation, by means of the Scientific Senate program, supports the promotion of the Erasmus program for young entrepreneurs, developing, together with CNIPMMR, a strategy aiming at maximizing the dissemination of the opportunities presented among young people.
The purpose of the program is to acquire relevant skills for managing an SME by spending a period of time on an SME from another country on the list of those participating in the program (both within the European Union and outside it). Thus, the program would contribute to the know-how improvement and would foster cross-border transfers of knowledge and experiences between entrepreneurs.
Here are the specific objectives of the program:
The new entrepreneurs will live abroad in another European country and will work with an experienced entrepreneur. The European Commission, through intermediary organizations (IOs), would provide financial assistance to cover the staying abroad expenses, according to the destination country.
The program (including CNIPMMR) would facilitate the relation between the new and the host entrepreneurs by means of an intermediary active organization. All actions related to the program are run exclusively through an online platform – www.erasmus-entrepreneurs.eu, the application process being easy and intuitive.
